This Austrian dish makes our taste buds very happy, however, it is usually covered in refined bread crumbs and possibly even vegetable oil! (it is DEFINITELY cooked in vegetable oil if you have bought it out of home). We like to clean this classic up a bit, without sacrificing the taste.

    What you need:
  • 2 chicken thighs
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp Sammy seasoning
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (you need this much to make them cripsy AF and to stop them from sticking to the pan)
    How to make:
  • Using a meat tenderiser, bash the thighs until 1cm thick. Set aside
  • In one shallow bowl, have the whisked eggs and in another have the almond meal, sesame seeds and Sammy Seasoning. Coat each thigh in the egg and then the almond meal mix and set aside
  • Heat the coconut oil over medium heat in a frying pan and cook the thighs for 6 minutes each side until golden and crispy!
