SPICY SLAW

Sometimes a nice crunchy salad is the perfect mid-day meal or addition to your piece of meat. The lime juice in this helps to break down the cabbage to make it easier for your body to digest too!
This recipe makes enough for 3 serves as a side salad, so it’s a great meal prep go-to!

    What you need:
  • 1/4 red cabbage
  • 1/4 white cabbage
  • 1 carrot
  • 3 tbsp tamari
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp Sofia
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup raw pepitas
  • 3 tbsp black sesame seeds
    How to make:
  • Use of a julienne or thinly slice the cabbage and place in a bowl. Thinly slice the carrot and place in the same bowl.
  • In a small bowl combine the tamari, lime juice, ginger, oil and Sofia and mix well to combine. Pour over the cabbage mix and mix well.
  • And the pepitas and sesame seeds and toss to combine. Serve!
